On view at Mark Rengers Gallery: First National Bank Exhibition Hall through May 30, this collaborative exhibition features over 50 of Kovak’s drawings and paintings alongside the photography of Christine Lorenz.
Professor Kristen Letts Kovak is featured in “Ambiguous Boundaries,” a collaborative exhibition with artist Christine Lorenz at Mark Rengers Gallery: First National Bank Exhibition Hall in Sewickley, PA. Curated by Melanie Vera, the show includes more than 50 of Kovak’s drawings and paintings. Bringing together micro and macro, color and black and white, and photography and painting, the exhibition creates a visual dialogue of abstraction between two artists’ mediums. Ahead of the show’s completion this summer, an artist talk with Kovak and Lorenz is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, from 5-7pm.
Below, watch an in-depth studio tour with Kovak as she shares more about her process, both philosophically and literally, and how to find peace in uncertainties.
