Shobun Baile (MFA ’18) has been selected for a residency at Tokyo Arts and Space in Japan.

Mark Baugh-Sasaki’s (BFA ’04) new solo exhibition, “Transect,” is presented by re.riddle in San Francisco through October 26.

Peter Burr (BFA ’02) is part of “Terra Textl” at Whitebox, curated by Johanna M Roa, in NYC.

Caroline Choe’s (BFA ’04) debut cookbook “Banchan,” launches with her first book tour across the United States beginning at Yu and Me Books in Manhattan with a book talk and signing.

Sung Rok Choi (MFA ’12) will participate in the Seoul Light Han River Light Spring Festival, including a lecture on October 11.

Katie Grinnan (BFA ’92) is featured in “Atmosphere of Sound,” curated by Anuradha Vikram and Victoria Vesna, as part of the Getty PST Art and Science Collide.

Dana Kleinman (BFA ’97) opened “KX2: Ripple Effect” at Broward College, culminating a long-running collaboration with her sister Ruth Avra reflecting on climate change.

Shana Moulton’s (MFA ’04) long-running video series “Whispering Pines” opens at The Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art on October 11.

Leah Piepgras (MFA ’97) is showing in “KARMA,” a benefit exhibition celebrating the work of 38 Boston artists at Gallery VERY.

Daniel Pillis (MFA ‘16) has been newly appointed as a tenure track assistant professor of virtual production at Emerson College.

Diane Thodos (BFA ’85) opened a new solo exhibition, “Eros/Thanatos: The Expressionist Prints of Diane Thodos,” at Firecat Projects in Chicago, on view through November 9.

Melissa Thorne (BFA ’93) is showing in “Fortune Teller,” an exhibition of miniature works at luck dragon in Delhi, NY, through October 20.

Allan West’s (BFA ’87) new book “They Hang Me in Tokyo: A Barbarian Artist’s Life-Changing Journey to Master Nihonga, the Traditional Art of Japan” will debut on October 10.

Huidi Xiang (MFA ’21) debuted a new public sculpture in Shanghai as part of the Jing’an International Sculpture Project curated by Jing Cheng.
