Scott Andrew (MFA ’13) lead the media design for a recent production of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” at the Greer Cabaret Theatre, directed by Robert Ramirez and staring Treasure Treasure.
Deborah Barkun (BFA ’89) began a new position as director of the Middlebury College Museum of Art in June.
Bianca Beck (BFA ’01) will soon conclude a solo exhibition “Bianca Beck: Eyes” at Center for Maine Contemporary Art, which runs May 13 – September 6.
Ashley Bravin (BFA ’12) is showing a series of 26 drawings, “Disability Alphabet,” alongside eight other artists in the “Art as Healing” Summer Exhibition on view at the University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW), Coventry, England, from May 11-September 30.
Lena Chen (MFA ’22) is featured in “Provocative Personas and Speculative Selves: The Alter Ego as Feminist Performance and Algorithmic Resistance” as part of the volume Naming and Being: Knowledges, Identities, and Cultural Politics, published by Routledge in March.
Magali Duzant (BXA ’09) exhibited a photographic work, A Tree, A Garden, at ICP’s Photobook Fest in May.
Beatriz Echeverria (BFA ’21) held a solo show “Fragmentos de conciencia” (Fragments of Consciousness) at the Delta de Picó Gallery in San Juan, Puerto Rico, June 4-July 10.
Justin Giunta (BFA ’01) showed work in Denver as part of Visions West Contemporary’s “New West” show.
Selina Lee (BFA ’20) attended the MFA program this summer at Bard, while also attending the Städelschule in Frankfurt for the remainder of the year.
Dana Lok (BFA ’12) was featured in “Dana Lok: A Hole for a Hand” by the magazine Triple Canopy, Issue #30.
Jay Miriam (BFA ’12) participated in the Lobster Club Group Show in NYC earlier this spring.
Shana Moulton (MFA ’11) and Emily Watlington held a public conversation on audiovisual access in Electronic Arts Intermix’s collection on June 24.
Geraldine Ondrizek (BFA ’85) is participating in the art–science exhibition “Becoming You: A Journey From A Single Cell” at Plaza Mora Gallery in Venice, running May 9 – November 22.
Maia Palmer’s (BFA ’02) large scale work “I’m Crying for You” was accepted for the exhibition “Resist and Persist: Social (in)Justice” at Sebastopol Center for the Arts in California.
Christine Phang (BHA ’19), after three years of work at the Dominican University of California, successfully defended her PhD dissertation, titled, “Anchoring Roots and Spreading Branches: The Development and Regulation of Art Therapy in Singapore,” to be published in Dominican Scholar.
Charles Ritchie (MFA ’80) presented Stay Frosty Kingston, the second edition of its open-air art event, presented this year in collaboration with ArtPort Kingston in Kingston, New York, and part of Upstate Art Weekend, June 25-28.
Barbara Rosenthal (BFA ’70) performed “Provocation Cards Interact” during the exhibition of her artist’s book folio “Provocation Cards” in vitrine of the 42nd St subway station as part of the new White Box Portable series, May 6 – 26.
Alexandra Rubinstein (BFA ’10) showed a new piece in Future Fair with Loft Projects, May 13-16.
Susan Schwalb (BFA ‘65) showed in several exhibitions throughout the summer, including the “National Arts Club Annual Exhibiting Artist Members Exhibition” on April 30 – May 27.
Samira Shaheen (BFA ’83) exhibited as part of the NFL Draft in downtown Pittsburgh, as well as in “History Through Art” at Rowe Gallery of the Greensburg Art Center.
Shori Sims (BFA ’22) showed in “YES, ABSURD” the Annual Full-Building Exhibition at Ground Floor Contemporary, May 2–16.
Renee Stout (BFA ’80) participated in “Say It Loud: AAMARP, 1977 to Now,” an exhibition of artworks by thirty-nine artists differently affiliated with the African American Master Artists-in-Residence Program (AAMARP) at Northeastern University. On view at the ICA Boston, February 12 – August 2, 2026.
Betty Winkler (BFA ’76) was recently interviewed about her printmaking book and related topics on the Platemark podcast, series 3 episode 104.
Courtney Wittekind (BHA ’13) will be releasing a new book “City of Speculation: Unsettled Futures in Urban Myanmar” in mid-November.
Ricardo Miranda Zúñiga (MFA ’99) participated in “Re-Union, New York,” the second iteration of the WhiteBox Portable curatorial framework, curated by Juan Puntes and Yohanna M. Roa.
