Professor DeYoung Awarded Honorable Mention at the Thomas Edison Film Festival

Professor Johannes DeYoung receives Honorable Mention for his recent video collaboration, “Mirror Mirror (Double Vision),” with artist Natalie Westbrook at the 2024 Thomas Edison Film Festival, touring between Feb — Dec 2024. For over 40 years the Thomas Edison Film Festival (formerly known as the Black Maria Film Festival) has been advancing the unique creativity and power of the short form. Thomas Edison Film Festival (TEFF) is a touring festival that passionately embraces its mission to promote innovation and advocacy for independent filmmakers from around the world. As a socially conscious traveling festival, its program celebrates outstanding independent short films by reaching diverse audiences across US and international venues.

Mirror Mirror (Double Vision) will also exhibit in the 2024 Norwalk Film Festival. The Norwalk Film Festival is scheduled to take place January 19 throug 21 at venues throughout Norwalk, CT.
