Posted on May 4, 2026

DeYoung will debut new site-specific projection work at the renowned international light art festival in Alys Beach, Florida.

Held May 15-18, 2026, the Digital Graffiti Festival is one of the world’s premier venues for projected light art and experimental media, where this year Professor Johannes DeYoung will present new work.

The festival uses the predominantly white architecture of Alys Beach, Florida, as a site for temporary installations. The event features approximately 70 works by internationally curated artists, with installations and performances presented along a nearly one-mile path throughout the community.

DeYoung’s participation places his work among a group of international artists working across projection, light, performance, and digital media. The festival attracts thousands of visitors each year and highlights experimental approaches to site-specific and media-based art.
