Williams is featured in “Fade,” the sixth edition of the museum’s prestigious “F” exhibition series.
Alum and current Adjunct Professor London Pierre Williams (MFA ’24) is among the featured artists in “Fade,” a major group exhibition now on view at the Studio Museum in Harlem. Running from May 1-September 6, 2026, the exhibition brings together 17 artists navigating a turbulent era of social and political change, as each explore spirituality, surrealism, and nonlinear time as “spaces of possibility.”
The museum’s “F” series began in 2001 with the “Freestyle” and has served as a career-defining platform for emerging artists of African descent, advancing the dialogue of contemporary Black art. Past shows include “Frequency,” “Flow,” “Fore,” and “Fictions.” The exhibition also serves as a highlight of the Studio Museum’s inaugural programming following the recent reopening of its newly expanded, 82,000-square-foot space designed by Adjaye Associates and Cooper Robertson.
