Lauren F Adams (MFA ‘07) and Vicky Pass shared Piecing & Pasting & Other Materials Related to Jane Austen, a project created as artists in residence at Goucher’s Special Collection Library, during their open house event on October 28 at Goucher College’s Athenaeum in Baltimore, Maryland.

Sobia Ahmad (MFA’ 24) will be showing “One Big Eye” in Beijing, at the Beijing International Short Film Festival, November 8 and 16.

Arden Bendler Browning (BFA ‘97) with Matt Browning (BFA ‘97), created Land-escape and the Aura of Distance, a multi-faceted digital installation commissioned and curated by Tephra Institute of Contemporary Art for the Celebration of the Arts Festival in partnership with Capital One Arts on October 3-5. The installation took over The Vault at Capital One Hall in Tysons, VA, incorporating projections, colored light, Mixed and Virtual Reality headsets, sound, and physical paintings. 

Mia Brownell (BFA ‘93) opened a solo exhibition at Catskill Art Space in New York on November 1, on view through December 28.

Frank Harris (BFA ‘82) showed work in “My America, An Illustrated Experience” at the Heinz History Center in partnership with the Pittsburgh Society Illustrators, on view through September 7, 2026. The show was recently covered in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette

Laura Hudspith (MFA ‘23) showed work at Art Toronto October 23-26 with Zalucky Contemporary. 

Christina Lee (BFA ‘14) is showing comic art at “Marathon Art Show,” a group exhibition a part of Short Run Comix Festival at the Fantagraphics Bookstore & Library in Seattle, open through December 10.

Dana Lok (BFA ‘11 ) is showing at the Paris International with Clima Gallery, and is also a recipient of the Liu Shiming Art Foundation Distinguished Educator Award. The award recognizes adjunct professors in the US and Canada who demonstrate exceptional dedication to teaching studio arts while maintaining active creative practices. 

Carolina Loyola-Garcia (MFA ‘00) created “Fractal Dance in Transit Gardens,” a new permanent public art installation at Pittsburgh International Airport, Concourse B.  

Ryan Murray (BFA ‘14) is showing work in “The Living Room,” a pop-up group exhibition at by The Art Band artists collective at Eastworks Suite 145 in Easthampton, MA.  

Barbara Rosenthal’s (BFA ‘70) exhibition Now! & Then! & How! opened October 27 at Queens College Art Alumni Exhibition at Klapper Art Gallery in Queens, NY,  on view through November 6.

Lillian van Veen (BHA ‘25) will be showing the painting Swaddled over Semi-Formal Ninth Grade Homecoming Crop Top at 440 Gallery’s 21st annual small works show in Brooklyn. The work will be on view November 13-December 19.
