Wikimedia’s gender trouble is well documented. A lack of female and genderqueer participation skews the content. Because of these absent voices, alarming gaps undermine and increasingly important repository of shared knowlege.

Join Carnegie Museum of Art and its partners—Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and University of Pittsburgh—for a communal updating of Wikipedia entries on subjects related to art and feminism.

People of all gender identities and expressions are invited to participate.

Wikipedia trainings well also be held on Mar 20 from 5-7pm at University of Pittsburgh’s Hillman Library and on Mar 22 from 6:30-8pm at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, East Liberty.
