Darkroom festival presents a day of underground film, video art and music at IKLECTIK in London, England. Curated and organized by artist and filmmaker, Charlotte Hendy, Darkroom provides a multidisciplinary platform that showcases experimental films, live music performances, and immersive audio-visual experiences. creating a dynamic and transformative festival that challenges conventions, sparks innovation, and engages diverse audiences. Darkroom promotes the convergence of visual and auditory media to create profound and multisensory artistic experiences. Through a curated program that combines experimental films, live music performances, and captivating audio-visual installations, the festival redefines boundaries of artistic expression through synesthetic exploration.
SIDE/LOT at Evanston Art Center (September 24 — November 15)

Johannes DeYoung presented works in SIDE/LOT, a program of Evanston Art Center and the 5th annual Evanston Experimental Video Showcase, in partnership with Bridge Video. Curated by Mat Rappaport, Naeema Jamilah Torres, and Anne Hayden Stevens, the program includes fifteen works by international artists. The event coincided with the inaugural Bridge Film & Video Fest at Site/Less Chicago on October 28.
Video Bardo (Nov 23 — Dec 3)
Buenos Aires, Argentina
The Buenos Aires-based festival marked its 27th year in November, with a program published in Spanish and English. The International Videopoetry Festival, founded in 1996, has been presented in 21 countries and is one of the oldest active videopoetry Festivals in the world. The program activated sites at Centro Municipal de Arte, Biblioteca Nacional Mariano Moreno, and El Cultural San Martin between November 23 and December 3, 2023.
