This year’s exhibition showcases the region’s talented young artists in the Hall of Fine Arts, culminating in an awards celebration on March 9.

The Pittsburgh Regional Scholastic Art Awards return to Carnegie Mellon University, transforming the College of Fine Arts with an inspiring showcase of student creativity. On view from February 25 through March 9, the exhibition features Gold and Silver Key-winning works from high school students across Allegheny, Beaver, and Butler counties. The Scholastic Awards have a long history of recognizing future art world luminaries, with past winners including School of Art alumni Philip Pearlstein, Andy Warhol, Mel Bochner, and John Currin, among many more recent alumni and current students. This year’s installation highlights a range of artistic voices, from bold paintings to intricate sculptures, celebrating the originality, skill, and vision of the next generation of artists. The exhibition concludes with an awards ceremony and closing celebration in Kresge Theatre on March 9.
