Georgia Saxelby‘s MFA ’22 immersive video installation “Lullaby” will be exhibited at the Samstag Museum in Adelaide, Australia from February 28 to June 12 as part of the contemporary art exhibition “Adelaide//International.” The International’s theme this year is exploring how architecture shapes our experiences.
“Lullaby” depicts a series of performances within several of the monuments on the National Mall and seeks to antagonize conventional ideas of monumentality and patriarchal architectural structures from a feminist perspective, one building at a time. It will be Saxelby’s first time presenting her work in a museum in Australia.
