In conjunction with the closing of their exhibition “18 Wheeler Platform Shoes” at Platform, the CMU School of Art MFA cohort presents “Gloria,” a gathering of experimental live art, performances, and music.

The evening presents performances from Jessica Fuquay (Art MFA ’22), Bonnie Gabel (Drama MFA ’20), Trevor C. Miles, Tara Fay Coleman, Lena Chen (Art MFA ’22), Corrine Jasmin, Philip Wesley Gates (Drama MFA ’19), and Matthew McGaughey (Art MFA ’22).

Platform is Carnegie Mellon University’s new student- and faculty-run space for public engagement with contemporary art. Inhabiting the former Pittsburgh Filmmakers building in Oakland, Platform opened in the Fall of 2019 with an exhibition created and curated by Master of Fine Arts students in the School of Art. Platform will officially launch with a suite of new programs in the Fall of 2020.
