“Familiar Terrain” is a multimedia show by School of Art sophomore Ema Furusho that explores surfaces of the human body as well as the materials we use to embellish it. It highlights the parallels between natural forms of different scales and the body, emphasizing the familiar warmth and specific history that they both suggest. By merging and collaging the forms are playfully abstracted, folding into itself and each other.
