As the Marketing and Communications Manager for the School of Art, Phillip oversees the creation and distribution of all internal and external communications. He manages website and social media content, curates the Weekly Newsletter, leads the production and distribution of printed promotional materials, and assists in event coordination for the School.

Prior to CMU, Phillip built his career developing campaigns and stories that center on the arts. At the start of 2023, he relocated to Pittsburgh after 13 years in New York City, where he served as Senior International Marketing Content Manager at Phillips Auction, leading the company’s content strategy worldwide, including in print and digital media, video, and direct marketing. At Ralph Lauren, he rose through the ranks to Editorial Director, leading the development of compelling messaging strategies for its luxury brands. Phillip began his career in publishing at Condé Nast, following his master’s program in Arts Journalism at Syracuse University.
