He received his M.F.A. from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston at Tufts University in 2011. His work has been widely exhibited, published, and privately collected, and he has painted professionally for Jeff Koons in Manhattan, NYC. He is currently an instructor at Carnegie Mellon University, Westminster College, and Youngstown State University, where he teaches painting, drawing and 2D design.
