Ezra Blank

Briefly describe your artistic practice.
I’m a printmaker, painter and comic maker who loves to draw themself as much as possible. A lot of my work deals with how to make things fit into the uncanny valley without being bloody, or just straight up autobiographical stories.

What are you currently working on?
Currently, I’m working on a book made out of stick and poke tattoos and bound together by piercings-it’s pretty horrific to look at now but hopefully it’ll end up cool rather than gross.

What do you plan to do after graduation?
My post-graduate plans are to stick around in Pittsburgh and find whatever art-related job I can-hopefully something in a gallery or print shop!
