Emmett Donlon
Briefly describe your artistic practice.
My work consists of painting, sculpture, and taxidermy that try to answer questions about boredom, loss, and coming out in both my own personal and shared histories. I explore these subjects with care and humor to try and convey the complexity and absurdity of the stories I am trying to tell.
What are you currently working on?
I am currently working on some larger scale portraits as well as knitting replicas of some of the animal pelts I have.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
I am hoping to attend grad school to get my MFA in the next year or two. Maybe I’ll start a small farm with a few cows and some chickens and goats. I could see myself doing either of those things.
