Professor Suzie Silver and Hilary Harp’s video “Stinkhorn” is part of two upcoming film festivals. “Stinkhorn” will screen in Istanbul, Turkey as part of the Pink Life KuirFest, January 24-26, and in Scottsdale, AZ as part of the Worldwide Women’s Film Festival, February 7-9.
“Stinkhorn” is the story of a naughty trickster who by day is the devoted beau of the town’s blacksmith, and by night turns the blacksmith’s apprentice into a horse and rides him all night long. Based on a Scottish folk tale, the film moves the tale’s events to the fictional 1880’s mining town of Stinkhorn, Arizona Territory.
