Company Gallery in New York City announced that they now represent Professor Katherine Hubbard. At the beginning of this year, Hubbard had a solo exhibition at the gallery titled “Avoid glancing blows,” which was favorably reviewed by Art in America.
Founded in 2015, Company Gallery has two spaces in New York City’s Lower East Side. The gallery also creates artist books in tandem with Capricious Publishing, which was established in 2003 to support feminist and queer focused art and writing. In addition to Hubbard, Company represents Jonathan Lyndon Chase, Yve Laris Cohen, Raúl de Nieves, Hayden Dunham, John Edmonds, Estate of Barbara Hammer, EJ Hill, Tiona Nekkia McClodden, Troy Michie, Jeanette Mundt, Ambera Wellmann, and Cajsa von Zeipel.
