Professor Hubbard’s Solo Exhibition Reviewed in Art in America

For the April issue of Art in America, Tausif Noor reviewed Professor Katherine Hubbard‘s solo exhibition “Avoid glancing blows” at Company Gallery, which was on view January 10 through February 23).

Noor writes, “Throughout the show, Hubbard leveled distinctions between different types of subjects, conflating human and animal, living and inert, availing herself of photography’s capacity to make the commonplace strange.”
