The John Michael Kohler Arts Center selected Professor Ginger Brooks Takahashi as part of the 2023 Arts/Industry residency cohort. Artists-in-residence spend three months creating new work in studios located in the pottery or foundry at the Kohler Co. factory in Kohler, Wisconsin.
Arts/Industry offers artists the time and space to focus on the creation of new work and a unique location for their studios. Each selected artist receives 24-hour access to studio space, industrial materials, use of equipment, technical assistance, photographic services, housing, round-trip transportation, and a modest weekly stipend.
