Arden Bendler Browning BFA ’97 exhibits in “Something Big, Something Small” at Bridgette Mayer Gallery in Philadelphia, opening Oct 31.

The Heinz History Center will screen Lena Chen’s MFA ’22 short documentary “The Last Mayor of Chinatown” on Oct 29.

Janet Culbertson BFA ’53, whose lifelong dedication to art explored environmental themes long before it was popular, passed away at age 91 on October 6 at her home in Shelter Island.

EvaLu Damianos BFA ‘57 exhibits in the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society’s Aqueous Open 2023, through Nov 30.

Catharine Fichtner MFA ’95 has a solo exhibition titled “Fugue State” opening at James Gallery in Pittsburgh on Oct 12.

Joyce Kozloff BFA ’64 has a solo exhibition titled “Uncivil Wars” at Pamela Salisbury Gallery in Hudson, NY, opening Nov 11.

Lorena Lopez BFA ’14 designed and created the costume for the new musical “The Busy Bee’s Great Adventure,” which ran Oct 2-13 at the Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts in Miami.

Carolina Loyola-Garcia MFA ‘00 received the Illuminate Award 2023 in Education from the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh for her work fostering international education in the visual and performing arts by leading Flamenco Pittsburgh.

Caroline Loyola-Garcia’s MFA ‘00 photography series “Hands” is currently on view at the Pittsburgh International Airport. She also has work included in the #notwhite collective’s exhibition at the McDonough Museum of Art in Youngstown, OH.

Samantha Mack BFA ’18 exhibits in “Beyond Sight” at the Savannah Cultural Arts Center Gallery through Nov 18.

Claire McConaughy BFA 81 exhibits in “In it for the Long Haul” at Lichtundfire in New York City, through Nov 4.

Shana Moulton MFA ’04 exhibits in “Ridiculously Yours” at Halle Für Kunst Steiermark in Austria, through Feb 25.

Anna Navasardian BFA ’10 exhibits in “Back to School” at the KuBe Art Center in Beacon, NY, opening Nov 3.

Brett Reichman’s BFA ’81 painting “Innocence and Sacrifice” is featured in Mousse Magazine’s fall 2023 issue.

Paul Rouphail BFA ’10 has work included in “About Painting III” at Galerie Rolando Anselmi in Rome, through Dec 22.

Raymond Saunders BFA ’60 exhibited with Andrew Kreps Gallery at Paris+ Par Art Basel, Oct 18-22.

Laura Van Duren BFA ’81 was featured in Ceramics Now, an online art publication dedicated to contemporary ceramics.
