Mia Brownell (BFA ‘93) is showing the painting Still Life with Leda and the Swan II in “THIS IS MY BODY” at the Edgerton Center for Performing Arts at Sacred Heart University, which opened on January 23.
Arden Bendler Browning (BFA ‘97) opened a solo exhibition “Other Possible Worlds” at Galleri Urbane in Dallas TX through February 15. Bendler Browning also recently showed virtual reality works at University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design in Meyerson Hall, featured in the reception for Philadelic, an annual transdisciplinary conference on Psychedelics.
Magali Duzant (BHA ‘09) read from her newest publication “La vie is like that,” published by Seaton Street Press, on January 24 at Wendy’s Subway in Brooklyn NY. Duzant was is included in Support Systems, an exhibition at the Longwood Art Gallery run by the Bronx Council on the Arts, showing a new site-specific iteration of the project The Dry Garden.
Marc Fischer (BFA ‘93) showed most of the 90 Public Collectors publications he’s made since 2007, and hundreds of other papers and publications from its collections, at a two-day exhibit at Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education.
Caroline Loyola Garcia (MFA ‘00) opened the solo exhibition “Merging Hands: A dance through digital landscapes” at the Burgin Center for the Arts at Mercersburg Academy, through February 24.
Katie Grinnan (BFA ‘92) received a 2025 Creative Capital Award for the project The Vault.
Laura Hudspith’s (MFA ‘23) solo exhibition Internal Circumstances at CIBC Square in Toronto, Ontario, came to a close on January 23.
Jennifer J. Lee (BFA ‘00) opened “The Falls,” a solo exhibition of photorealistic painting on jute, at Klaus Von Nichtssagend Gallery on January 10, open through February 22.
Alex Lukas (MFA ‘18) guest curated the exhibition “Public Texts: A Californian Visual Language” at the Art, Design and Architecture Museum at UC Santa Barbara, which opened January 18 and will run until April 27.
Alexandra Rubinstein (BFA ‘10) is showing new pieces in “Slumber Party” at Ruby Dakota in New York, open until March 2.
Kate Temple (BFA ‘88) participated in the group exhibition “What Can’t Be Spoken,” a 2025 Annual Juried Exhibition at Gallery Route One in Point Reyes Station, California, open through February 15.
Kate Werth (BFA ‘18) started a position as Manager, Design and Creative Strategy at Deloitte.
Hyla Willis (MFA ‘99), STUDIO for Creative Inquiry alumna and part of subRosa art collective, will be a panelist on Cyberfeminist Legacies in New Media Art on February 14 as part of the College Art Association (CAA) Conference in New York City.
