In celebration of the 97th anniversary of the Battle of Blair Mountain, Powder Room presents new scenes from MFA candidate Nick Crockett‘s ongoing project: a surreal animated mash-up of american history, folk tales, the Paleozoic past, and a mythologized legacy of resistance in Appalachia.

Opening: Saturday. September 8 at 9-11pm.
Hours: Sunday, September 9 at 9pm and by appointment through September 15.
