“Family Meeting” includes recent work by current advanced Print Media students from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Art. The work is fresh; final projects from this semester, produced by some the newest contributors to Pittsburgh’s art community. These works are by students with no more than 2 years of experience with printmaking and yet their projects engage with both the technical and conceptual range of the medium. “Family Meeting” lovingly refers to our 8:30 am class ritual, where we made our family through sharing our love of print and our ambitions for new artworks over a cup of coffee.
