Professor Angela Washko‘s new game “Mother, Player” will be included in the Slamdance Film Festival as part of the Digital, Interactive and Gaming (DIG) program. The 2024 festival takes place in person from January 19-25 in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Now in its 30th year, Slamdance celebrates independent artists. In addition to presenting film, the festival also showcases experiential and cutting-edge digital works by independent artists working in hybrid, immersive and emerging forms of digital media art.
“Mother, Player” is an experimental narrative video game featuring pregnancy and early parenthood stories from artists during the global pandemic.
