SUMMARY:Opening: Façade
DESCRIPTION:New work by Chengcheng Zhao BFA/HCI ’17 and Samir Gangwani Mus ’17 opening May 5th from 5-9pm\, on view through May 7th. \nFacade is an exploration of morphable wearables that resemble the relationships between social identities and self-identifications. By transferring social image of oneself into physical form and replacing it onto human body\, we examine the relationships between inner and outer selves. The outer self can be either the social definitions of which we have been carrying on\, or we having been pretending to be. The transformation of wearables triggered by various interactions\, serves as gestures to reveal hidden narratives and identities to the audiences.
